About the Role

The Senior Marketing Strategist at Highmark Health in Augusta, Maine, is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to support acquisition, retention, and engagement objectives across various audiences including business-to-business, business-to-consumer, providers, and products and services. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to define marketing strategies, develop project briefs, manage budgets, and measure campaign outcomes to improve ROI and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated (360) marketing campaigns to advance, acquisition, retention, and engagement objectives for various audiences.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive marketing project briefs in collaboration with key stakeholders, matrix partners, and marketing research to define objectives, insights, positioning, messages, and tracking.
  • Develop forecasts for marketing activities, responses, and leads, and create business cases to support new marketing strategies, budgets, projects, and plans.
  • Work with marketing team members to ensure high-quality execution of strategies within set timeframes.
  • Communicate marketing plans and outcomes to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure brand alignment to increase brand awareness and equity.
  • Track and measure marketing outcomes including activities, responses, leads, sales, retention, and ROI/ROMI.
  • Evaluate campaign outcomes, analyze customer insights, and monitor competitive and environmental trends to refine current and develop future marketing strategies.
  • Manage, develop, track, and project budgets in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in marketing, including coordinating end-to-end delivery of marketing projects.
  • Experience with marketing plan development and tactical deployment planning.
  • Experience working with project management tools and budget management.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy, project management, and creative evaluation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent business writing skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data, solve problems, and use technological resources.
  • Experience managing budgets and working across multiple organizations.

Qualifications
