Senior Partner Business Development Manager, Vertiv & Nvidia

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales between Insight and partner teams.
• Promote partner programs and products.
• Maintain a flexible travel schedule for meetings.
• Communicate directly with sales management for collaboration.
• Prepare monthly reports on wins, losses, and opportunities.
• Follow up on partner lead lists and gather feedback.
• Track and report on call campaign effectiveness.
• Achieve and drive partner certifications quarterly.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external clients.
• Attend training sessions and webinars as directed.
• Communicate Insight’s value proposition at all levels.
• Conduct outreach to key partners.
• Position Insight as a solution for business needs.
• Introduce new solutions to meet client challenges.
• Build relationships with strategic vendor partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technology initiatives.
• Demonstrate understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including sizing environments based on workload demands, power consumption, and thermal output.
• Assess wattage expectations and requirements for datacenter configurations.
• Differentiate Vertiv's power and cooling solutions from competitors by highlighting scalability, modularity, and integration capabilities.
• Educate internal teams and clients on Vertiv's portfolio value proposition.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate complex datacenter requirements into solutions.
• Stay informed about data center trends such as sustainability, high-density compute, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on datacenter readiness, evaluating site-level requirements.
• Partner with sales and engineering teams to develop proposals showcasing Vertiv's solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of seven years in channel IT sales managing large accounts.
• Must have Tier 1 vendor experience and knowledge.
• Proven track record of exceeding corporate objectives and quotas.
• Knowledge of the healthcare technology industry is essential.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and develop trust at all organizational levels.
• Solid problem-solving and consultative skills.
• Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented.

Nice to Have

• Experience with datacenter infrastructure and solutions.
• Knowledge of industry trends such as sustainability and high-density environments.
• Experience translating complex technical requirements into solutions.

Qualifications

• Educational background with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
