As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will shape portfolio strategy by combining market insights, assessing emerging trends, and evaluating the competitive landscape to craft forward-looking recommendations that influence portfolio roadmaps and go-to-market priorities, especially as AI reshapes mission readiness, cybersecurity, and decision-making across the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic recommendations for the portfolio of products, including market opportunities, competitive analysis, and portfolio overview tailored to the needs of the Government, Defense, and Intelligence sectors globally.
  • Build upon the knowledge of others (engineering, marketing, business planning, finance, legal, and sales) and drive cross-group alignment, with clear definition of success.
  • Provide audience-specific insights, including industry-aligned use cases, alternatives, and address pain points.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives by driving go-to-market strategies, identifying impacts across functions, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure coordinated execution.
  • Consolidate portfolio delivery timelines, incorporating dependencies from both upstream engineering and downstream marketing activities.
  • Regularly communicate status, risks, and issues with extended stakeholder groups.
  • Scan the environment to help anticipate changes that could affect key projects and apply systems thinking.
  • Effectively change plans, goals, actions, or priorities to respond to changing situations.
  • Remove barriers by working with others around a shared need or benefit.
  • Maintain a broader perspective and identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration.
  • Incorporate diverse perspectives to thoroughly address complex business issues.
  • Translate the product strategy into operational plans and drive those plans through to completion.
  • Ensure stakeholder buy-in and cross-team participation to meet required timelines.
  • Lead groups in scoping problems by identifying key issues, inputs, stakeholders, and outcomes.
  • Apply broad business and functional knowledge to develop insightful solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and delivering strategic product marketing recommendations.
  • Ability to build cross-group alignment and drive initiatives across functions.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive landscape, and industry-specific use cases.
  • Excellent communication skills to regularly update stakeholders on status, risks, and issues.
  • Ability to scan the environment for changes and apply systems thinking.
  • Flexibility to change plans and priorities in response to evolving situations.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with engineering, marketing, finance, legal, and sales teams.
  • Broad business and functional knowledge to solve complex problems.
  • Experience translating product strategy into operational plans and executing them successfully.
