Senior Quality Assurance Analyst/Technical Writer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization
• Develop and define major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics and scoring parameters and determines requisite quality control resources
• Establish and maintain a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assist in the evaluation
• Conduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle
• Write or edit technical materials such as reports of research findings, scientific or technical documents, articles, news releases, regulations, technical manuals, specifications, brochures, pamphlets, speeches, or contract letters
• Develop information and analysis to present on navigation and landing systems suitable for the intended audience

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years' experience in systems engineering/integration disciplines
• Knowledge of requirements analysis and traceability, engineering analyses related to system reliability, availability, and maintainability for safety-critical systems
• Experience with system performance monitoring using models or simulators, operation testing and analysis, human factors, and configuration management
• Work experience in writing and reviewing requirements documents, specifications, NAS/engineering change proposals, directives, and technical reports
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Familiarity with the Government Contracts Letter process preferred
