Senior Regional Manager Marketing & Communications (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Managing, leading and guiding a regional marketing & communications team virtually across the US, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.
• Responsible for successful G2M strategies and operational execution of regional and local marketing and communication activities to drive customer engagement, lead generation, business growth, and brand awareness in alignment with the global strategy.
• Translating and implementing global strategic marketing & communication requirements into regional planning of tailored activities, measured by KPIs and campaign management.
• Aligning with internal stakeholders and customers within the regions such as managing directors, sales, and business field managers.
• Reporting directly to the Corporate Global Office Marketing and Communications based in Cologne, Germany.
• Acting as regional counterpart and main contact for all GO M&C units based in Cologne, including Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications, Brand, and Market Research.
• Managing regional communications and representing the region to Corporate Communications on PR, crisis communications, and social media.
• Overseeing the regional marketing and communications budget and ensuring its careful and cost-effective utilization.
• Designing and developing regional/local marketing plans supporting customer retention and acquisition according to KPIs.
• Implementing regional marketing & communication strategies, processes, structures, tools, and KPIs in line with global guidelines.
• Building and leading a high-performing decentralized marketing and communications organization, including demand generation, lead generation, sales enablement, content, influencer, and partner marketing.
• Planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns across digital marketing, content marketing, PR, and advertising to meet regional business targets.
• Ensuring implementation and control of global & regional marketing campaigns, including local content and asset creation.
• Managing the regional marketing & communications governance and strategy implementation according to global guidelines.
• Developing and executing internal and external marketing communications, including press work and crisis communication.
• Developing and executing crisis communication plans as needed.
• Protecting and enhancing the company's brand image within the region, ensuring consistency with global brand guidelines.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, partners, influencers, and management.
• Formulating HR requirements for the marketing workforce in the region.

Requirements

• University degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent in English (C1).
• Beneficial to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in a related area.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience as a Senior Manager for large teams and virtual leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working in/with intercultural teams.
