The Senior Revenue Manager role with RevMax is critical for providing customer service and expertise to high-value clients, acting as the primary point of contact for revenue management services, and helping clients meet their strategic pricing and inventory goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and build client relationships while providing revenue management service and expertise.
  • Lead the weekly recurring RevMax-Revenue Management meeting with each customer.
  • Clearly communicate strategic vision and objectives to clients on how to drive revenues and improve performance.
  • Effectively communicate current selling strategies and necessary updates to impacted departments.
  • Provide clients with regular updates on company performance, including market share, market segmentation, and channel metrics.
  • Analyze past and current trends to develop strategies for capturing market share and driving profitability; track performance of these strategies.
  • Complete understanding and effective execution of all current and future revenue management tools, including PMS (Streamline), RevMax, Transparent, Key Data, LSI, and company reports.
  • Drive market share and revenue performance through proper pricing, inventory controls, and mix management.
  • Develop overall pricing strategies across all market segments and distribution channels.
  • Ensure effective pricing strategies reflect asset strength relative to competitors and market conditions.
  • Monitor competitive pricing and understand impacts of pricing decisions on property performance.
  • Conduct regular price elasticity tests, measure results, and share key learnings.
  • Review and analyze reports weekly and monthly, identifying and implementing strategies for future demand scenarios.
  • Compile weekly analysis reports to evaluate market share performance and strategy effectiveness.
  • Identify and analyze peak and shoulder days, considering past performance and industry trends, and implement strategies such as LOS restrictions and price adjustments.
  • Coordinate optimization opportunities for incremental revenue and market share growth with marketing teams.
  • Manage inventory and pricing strategies across all distribution channels including branded web, third-party sites, and OTAs.
  • Attend industry conferences (3-6 per year) and host RevMax Bootcamps (12 virtual sessions).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years revenue management experience in the vacation rental or traditional hospitality industry.
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Direct experience using Property Management Software.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
