Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to identify bugs and ensure optimal performance.
  • Record, report, and track defects using issue tracking tools. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, including detailed reports on defects, test coverage, and testing processes.
  • Assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability and functionality.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies and practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in software quality assurance or testing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) and understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High school diploma.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automation testing tools and scripting.
  • Knowledge of medical device software standards or regulated environments.
