Senior Solution Engineer (Daimler) - Global Accounts

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
• Create and develop technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
• Confidently present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive technologies, and how to position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with other sales engineers to learn from wins and losses and improve team performance.
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing strategies.
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events.
• Partner with ecosystem and implementation partners to build joint architectures and collaborate on account strategies to ensure customer success.

Requirements

• Extensive solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience (analytics, data science, data engineering, etc.).
• Proven track record of delivering technical wins and building strong customer relationships.
• Ability to lead and influence beyond own accounts by uplifting team members or regional colleagues.
• Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, both impromptu and prepared.
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake solutions.
• Customer-facing skills to communicate vision effectively to technical and executive audiences, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in German language (written & spoken).

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, git, etc.
• Experience with data science and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience or solution engineering background in SaaS or related fields.
