Senior Technical Program Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Driving the value stream in delivering in collaboration with other Value Stream leads, including participating in value stream events, process improvement initiatives, and optimization efforts to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Driving the definition and execution of project and program activities, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, tracking, risk management, and reporting.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams through strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve consensus and alignment on objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Applying software development process experience to guide project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Developing, maintaining, and reviewing project metrics and documentation such as flow metrics, backlogs, project plans, meeting minutes, and action items.
• Providing regular updates on progress, milestones, and key metrics to stakeholders aligned with Agile principles.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including product managers, engineering teams, QA, and customer support, to facilitate communication and clarify expectations.
• Analyzing complex challenges during project execution, identifying root causes, and developing innovative solutions.
• Contributing ideas for process improvements and participating in retrospectives and lessons learned sessions.
• Managing cross-team dependencies to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
• Fostering an outcome-based strategy and culture by demonstrating leadership, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Taking ownership of program initiatives from inception to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role with a successful track record in delivering complex software projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex technical issues and develop actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Good understanding of Agile practices, including SAFe, Scrum, LPM, and DevOps.
• Ability to perform in a hybrid-office role requiring three or more days per week in the office.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale SaaS-based environments.
• Ability to leverage a customer-centric perspective to represent customer needs and preferences.
• Out-of-the-box thinking and results-driven problem-solving skills.
• Continuous learning approach, including asking relevant questions and incorporating feedback.
• Experience with Aha!, JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI.
• Preferred certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience in technical program management.
