Shift Manager (Internal Promotion)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute responsibilities for people, customer, and service
• Ensure that all Team Members complete their tasks for their assigned position(s)
• Ensure that employees are clean and neat in appearance
• Personally demonstrate that customer needs are the highest priority
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations
• Greet customers with a smile, and be polite and pleasant when speaking with customers
• Work with management and fellow employees to serve customers with a sense of urgency
• Cooperate with peers and work as part of a team, helping others when needed
• Provide regular feedback to the RGM on Team Members' performance
• Provide ongoing constructive and complimentary feedback to Team Members
• Actively participate in the training of Team Members
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with RGM to resolve issues
• Assist profit & loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times
• Assist RGM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed
• Understand posted work schedule and report to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform, and ready
• Use approved time-keeping system accurately
• Perform basic business math, stock shelves and coolers, clean parking lot and grounds, sweep and mop floors, lift and carry trash containers, and tolerate standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check
• Able to do basic business math
• Able to stock shelves and coolers
• Able to clean parking lot and surrounding grounds
• Able to sweep and mop floors
• Able to lift, carry out trash containers, and place in an outside bin
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 90% of shift time
