About the Role

The Social Content Specialist is a highly creative and trend-savvy role within the social media team, responsible for producing engaging platform-native content and supporting community management to ensure a consistent and authentic brand voice across channels. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and agency partners to implement social media strategies, build brand loyalty, and drive cultural relevance. The role is based in Albany, NY, with remote work from the Greater Chicago or Greater New York metro areas, requiring occasional onsite presence and travel.

Key Responsibilities

Create thumb-stopping content that resonates with diverse audiences across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Design static graphics and edit short-form videos using brand guidelines and current trends
Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to align content with brand strategy and campaign goals
Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to inform content strategy
Support the creation of social toolkits, templates, and creative briefs
Monitor and engage with audiences across owned social channels using social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr)
Respond to key comments and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
Flag emerging issues, trends, or opportunities to internal teams

Requirements

2+ years of experience in social media content creation
Experience in community management is a plus
Strong graphic design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
Experience with social media management tools (Sprinklr preferred)
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
