About the Role

Our client is a growing insurance company dedicated to helping individuals and families better understand their insurance options. They leverage YouTube as a primary platform to educate viewers about insurance products in a simple, engaging, and approachable way. The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will play a key role in managing and growing the client's YouTube channel, along with their broader social media strategy. This role requires someone with hands-on experience in video editing, YouTube content creation, and short-form video strategies (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok).

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow the client's YouTube channel and broader social media presence.
Create engaging video content for YouTube, including Shorts, Reels, and TikTok videos.
Implement and optimize digital marketing strategies to increase channel growth and engagement.
Utilize video editing skills to produce high-quality content using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
Apply SEO best practices to improve visibility and reach on YouTube and social media platforms.
Develop and tell compelling stories through video content to build the brand.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of YouTube as a content and growth platform.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Experience creating short-form video content for YouTube Shorts, Reels, or TikTok.
Understanding of SEO for YouTube and social media algorithms.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with content creation for multiple social media platforms.
Knowledge of digital marketing trends and strategies.
Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (implied by experience requirements).
