Social Media Content Specialist (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create thumb-stopping content that resonates with diverse audiences across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Design static graphics and edit short-form videos using brand guidelines and current trends
• Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to align content with brand strategy and campaign goals
• Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to inform content strategy
• Support the creation of social toolkits, templates, and creative briefs
• Monitor and engage with audiences across owned social channels using social media management tools
• Respond to key comments and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
• Flag emerging issues, trends, or opportunities to internal teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in social media content creation
• Experience in community management is a plus
• Strong graphic design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
• Experience with social media management tools (Sprinklr preferred)
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Reliable internet access and ability to work remotely
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for content capture, team collaboration, or event coverage

Nice to Have

• Experience editing short-form videos for platforms like TikTok or Instagram Reels
• Experience with additional social media management tools (Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, etc.)
• Familiarity with current social media trends and platform updates

Qualifications

• Associate degree (Preferred)
• Experience in social media content creation: 2 years (Required)
