About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement social media marketing plans for multiple academic departments.
• Curate and schedule posts for active social media accounts including Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Develop content to increase engagement and enrollment.
• Produce videography and edit content suitable for social media formats.
• Create photography and lively images for social media posts.
• Conduct interviews with faculty, alumni, and students to gather content.
• Draft meaningful content that reflects the culture of each academic department.
• Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Applicants must be currently enrolled at CIIS in a certificate/degree-seeking program.
• Familiarity with managing social media platforms and navigating their features.
• Strong creative writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adhere to CIIS's brand standards, voice, and marketing practices.
• Excellent project management skills to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and problem-solve.
• Attention to detail, punctuality, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding faculty, staff, and student information.

Nice to Have

• Being located near the SF Bay Area to attend and capture in-person programming is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a certificate or degree program at CIIS.

Benefits & Perks

• Wages of $19.18 per hour.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Part-time position of 15 hours per week.
