Social Media Program Manager - Strategic Planning & Marketing - Full Time

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the overall marketing and communication goals of The Guthrie Clinic, including setting measurable objectives, identifying target audiences, and selecting appropriate social media platforms.
• Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for various social media platforms, including writing, editing, curating content, and overseeing multimedia production such as videos, infographics, and podcasts.
• Utilize advanced analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
• Develop and implement crisis communication plans for social media, monitor for potential issues, respond to negative feedback, and manage the organization's online reputation during crises.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, public relations, customer service, and IT to ensure cohesive social media efforts, providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and identify new opportunities for engagement.
• Foster and manage relationships with key influencers, partners, and stakeholders, engaging with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff on social media best practices, tools, and strategies to promote continuous learning.
• Develop and manage the social media budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing ROI.
• Ensure all social media activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Become an advocate for The Guthrie Clinic in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
• Coordinate the strategic development of tools for online community building with patients and participate in evaluating solutions to develop online communities.
• Establish and maintain rapport and credibility with constituents at all levels across the enterprise.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications, with a strong preference for healthcare experience.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred; if no degree, five years of experience in healthcare marketing, graphic design, or clinical administrative support is required.
• Experience developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns.
• Proficiency with analytics tools to measure social media performance.
• Strong communication and content creation skills, including writing, editing, and multimedia production.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead projects.
• Knowledge of social media trends, tools, and best practices.
• Experience managing social media budgets and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare marketing or clinical administrative support.
• Additional certifications or training in social media management or digital marketing.
