Social Media Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging online content and tailor it for specific platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), develop a content calendar, and jump on trends while aligning with brand voice and business objectives.
• Develop interesting, on-brand posts, captions, video scripts, etc., and collaborate with teams to ensure all elements of the content meet quality standards.
• Strategically post content at optimal times, actively respond to comments and messages, and adjust strategies to increase engagement and visibility.
• Develop effective guides, toolkits, and training materials for social media strategies, lead training sessions, and advise franchisees seeking guidance.
• Use platform analytics and third-party tools to analyze campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and continuously refine business content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or a related area.
• Proven copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
• Hands-on experience growing business presence across online platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Experience collaborating with designers and internal teams to create visually appealing, high-quality content.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, trends, and strategies for driving engagement and growing audiences.
• Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.
• Organizational skills, self-motivation to succeed, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate with people online, over the phone, and in person.
• Flexible problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and with a team.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in the beauty industry.
• Proven ability to use AI prompts.

Qualifications
