About the Role

The Social Media Specialist will develop and manage social media communication materials, execute paid social media campaigns, handle community and crisis management, collaborate with various teams on strategic initiatives, and stay updated on social media trends to support the company's brand and marketing goals. This role involves working in a hybrid environment in Plano, TX, with some on-site responsibilities and the need for occasional physical activity on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly social media communication materials including assets, copy, images, videos, live streams, GIFs, carousels, stories, and giveaways that are relevant, engaging, and aligned with the Company brand.
  • Manage the development and execution of paid social media campaigns with stakeholders and agencies.
  • Deliver projects and initiatives on-time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Handle community and crisis management across the Company's social channels.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, management, and legal to address questions, feedback, complaints, or crises professionally and promptly to maintain brand reputation.
  • Curate, moderate approvals, and leverage User Generated Content (UGC) as part of the content strategy.
  • Work with marketing stakeholders to develop social media content supporting new product launches and marketing priorities.
  • Collaborate with the global team and other marketing organizations on strategic initiatives, pilot programs, and related activities.
  • Gather insights and utilize metrics to evaluate social media performance and recommend improvements.
  • Define, implement, and communicate metrics to stakeholders to inform decision making.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  • Facilitate employee education and training on social media guidelines and best practices.
  • Serve as the company's social channels spokesperson for live events and video creation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years' social media experience required.
  • Strong knowledge and direct experience with social media platforms and communication (organic and paid).
  • Proven ability to work in a demanding environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver results within short timeframes.
  • Proven ability to develop effective, result-focused marketing communications.
  • Experience managing external vendors, budgets, and timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with social media management platforms like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Falcon, or similar.
  • Preferably experience with Photoshop and Adobe Premiere (Adobe Creative Suite).

Qualifications
