Job Description

About the Role

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the implementation, management, and optimization of social media campaigns at Coegi. This role involves executing effective and innovative campaigns across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and other emerging social platforms. The specialist develops monthly reports for clients and establishes best practices for social campaign management in collaboration with management. The position offers hybrid work arrangements and is part of a growing company focused on digital marketing and social media advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in social platforms to set up and manage media campaigns to ensure success across the lifetime of client media campaigns
  • Monitor pacing and performance of client's media campaigns across all social platforms
  • Analyze and report campaign performance for client's media campaigns, including some client-facing interaction
  • Review the status and performance of campaigns with internal client account team members and clients as needed
  • Provide social execution expertise and research for internal client account team members
  • Work with Client Development on new business efforts
  • Participate in the development of client presentations in conjunction with Client Services and Account Strategy Director
  • Promote the external marketing of Coegi by developing blogs, white papers, and case studies

Requirements

  • One to two years of experience with hands-on digital campaign management in social media, preferably within an agency environment
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Twitter
  • Familiarity with both direct-response and branding campaigns
  • Self-starter with a commitment to ongoing education in digital marketing
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High deductive reasoning skills with the ability to problem solve and think creatively
  • Ability to work within a team environment while handling multiple projects with deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; concentration in marketing, statistics, business, or advertising preferred, or equivalent professional experience
