About the Role

The Social Strategy & Brand Marketing Lead is responsible for driving the strategic direction and implementation of an integrated Brand+Social strategy for a client, working within a team of creators, strategists, community managers, analysts, and other specialists. The role involves developing engaging social-first marketing experiences, managing brand moments and activations, and contributing to measurement and learning frameworks to enhance brand perception and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, narrative, and execution of the client's Brand Social Calendar (US, GRL), leveraging insights, data, and cross-functional input to shape moments, communities, and cultural activations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to fuel Moments strategy with data-driven insights, including social listening workflows for situational awareness and social activation.
  • Develop principles and the client's calendar in alignment with stakeholders, owning the Brand+Social calendar and informing execution of initiatives such as Music Playlists, Creator Collectives, and Communications.
  • Lead cross-organizational activation with teams like Communications and Product, including streamlined execution and executive communications.
  • Align overall approach with the client's Moments strategy and lead in-product Brand activation 'Delights' program in partnership with Product, defining principles, aligning editorial calendars, and driving activation plans.
  • Partner with Brand Editorial on strategy for Brand 3.0, defining goals to engage and shift perception with women, and collaborate on paid boosting programs.
  • Contribute to annual planning, measurement frameworks, and own the Brand+Social learning agenda to study efficacy and measure experiments.
  • Develop and drive strategy for paid social boosting programs targeting core audiences, collaborating with editorial, media, and insights teams.

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in marketing, including crisis management, public affairs, or social analytics.
  • Experience with social measurement tools and datasets such as Brandwatch and Sprinklr.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and managing executive communications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to create data-driven narratives and strategic reports.
  • Understanding and interest in the creator community and culture.
  • Curiosity and motivation to understand issues and drive resolution.
  • Experience working in complex, heavily matrixed, fast-paced global organizations.
  • Experience leading agency partners.
  • Experience leveraging AI to accelerate insights, strategy, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
