Software Development Engineers in Test

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
• Build automated testing tools and scripts for driving application tests.
• Define, develop, implement, and maintain the automation test scripts.
• Record and maintain source control of automation scripts.
• Participate in review of project requirements to understand test objectives, provide input on testability, and estimate testing activities.
• Provide the testing approach and develop automation tests.
• Analyze new product features for potential test scenarios and write tests.
• Document findings and observations during test execution.
• Work closely with developers to debug and fix bugs and observations.
• Dedicate time to learning new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
• Experience, knowledge, or coursework in Object Oriented Programming such as Java and C#.
• Experience with page object model and BDD frameworks.
• Experience with developer platforms such as Github.
• Participation in sprint review and sprint planning meetings.
• Developing test cases for individual product use cases.
• Experience with Bitbucket for continuous integration.
• Experience working on mobile and API automation.
• Experience working on manual test cases and raising bugs in Jira.

Qualifications

• Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
