About the Role

As a Software QA Engineer at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the excellence of our software products. Your contribution will be integral in ensuring our solutions meet the highest quality standards, providing seamless and reliable experiences for our clients. Collaborating with diverse development and product teams, you'll implement best-practice QA methodologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute detailed quality assurance testing for software products.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Apply best practices in quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts.
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • 2+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent military experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
  • Familiarity with security testing practices.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles.
  • Certification in software testing methodologies.
