This position supports the F-35 line of business for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics company in Orlando, FL, supporting a facility that requires special access. The role involves working with minimal supervision, communicating across all levels of leadership, and developing SW Quality Engineering skills. The position may require occasional business travel.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate/assist in the identification of root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance (via internal audit), support continuous improvement efforts, and participate/interface with the engineering and sustainment communities and customer (as required) on program activities to ensure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements.
Provide SW QA support for program peer reviews, SW audits, regression testing, integration & test, and functional sell-off.
Ability to develop and analyze SW quality metrics.
Support other SW Quality Engineers as needed.
Interface with the customer on program activities to ensure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements and company policies and procedures.
Support ALIS/ODIN Quality in all activities as they relate to the Quality Management System (QMS), AS9100 compliance/certification, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and the process audit program.

Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies.
Experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps) as an active team member/participant.
Experienced in Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans and facilitating RCCA events.
Ability to conduct and document process audits and evaluations.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles.
Knowledge of with AS9100, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and Standards.
Experience and/or prior background with logistics information systems programs or large scale transactional software systems.
LSS Black Belt or Green Belt Certification.
Experienced communicator (written & verbal).
Ability to obtain a secret clearance, after hire.
