About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Marketing team at SOREL. This position focuses on operational support, requiring strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. The role is fast-paced and involves multitasking to ensure effective internal communication, project management, and data handling within the team. The role is based out of the company's HQ in Portland, OR, with an expectation of 3 days in-office per week. SOREL is a brand known for merging reliable performance with daring aesthetics, with a history dating back to 1962, and is involved in snow sports, streetwear, travel, and luxury markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior GTM Specialist and Director of Marketing on all operational needs including sample ordering and management, vendor set-up, influencer requests and database, invoices and procurement
  • Support digital asset management for both season and archival, including shot lists for photo shoots, PDP imagery, and visual center distribution
  • Oversee retail fixture ordering, storage, and distribution
  • Support key leaders on Brand Team for research, presentation builds, sales meetings and events, photo shoots, and activations
  • Support the Brand Team on the creation and distribution of internal and external newsletters
  • Sample ordering and management
  • Maintain and update influencer requests and database
  • Responsible for invoices and procurement related topics
  • Streamline and support Brand Marketing Operation Workstreams/Projects
  • Handle social media scheduling and respond to social media questions

Requirements

  • Minimal 2 years experience in agency or brand with Marketing/PR/Media experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of fashion, outdoors, streetwear, entertainment and pop culture
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment while working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills - knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Extensive knowledge in social and digital media trends/platforms

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting digital asset management and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with vendor set-up and procurement processes

Qualifications

  • Experience in agency or brand marketing, PR, or media
  • Knowledge of fashion, outdoors, streetwear, entertainment, and pop culture
