Job Description

About the Role

The Specialist, Marketing supports engagement and retention strategies for Oscar Health's key audiences, both B2B and D2C. The role involves working with lead/manager and cross-functional partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at driving engagement and outcomes. The position is supported by colleagues and leaders in executing campaigns, program management, and reporting, including tasks such as brief development, audience definitions, copywriting, project and logistics management, and reporting. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, emphasizing a connected work culture and supporting Oscar’s mission to change healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executes on key multi-channel campaigns including virtual, in-person, digital, and collateral based on company metrics and marketing knowledge.
  • Supports creation of marketing and communication tactics through project management by gathering inputs and requirements, documenting flawlessly, and ensuring campaign timelines are maintained.
  • Implements tactical campaigns that support consumer experiences influencing various workstreams.
  • Maintains detailed calendars, execution checklists, and documentation to support high-quality, scalable processes.
  • Reviews campaign reporting to identify learnings or outliers and shares insights with partners and leadership.
  • Becomes a subject matter expert in the marketing organization, understanding membership, core products, provider experience, and tactics that influence key metrics.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Supports other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with marketing functions and driving digital engagement.
  • 1+ years of experience working closely with cross-functional teams such as brand strategy, creative, marketing strategy, or CRM.
  • 1+ years of experience managing partners and projects within tight timelines.

Nice to Have

  • 1+ years of experience with measurement and analytics and overseeing campaign tests/set up.
  • Experience with email campaigns, text messaging, events, or healthcare marketing and associated results.
  • Native/Bi-lingual Spanish speaker with the ability to write copy fluently in Spanish.

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
