Are you a data-driven storyteller with a passion for precision and strategy? The Marketing Insights & Optimization team is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to lead the development and execution of Nationwide's unified marketing measurement strategy. This hybrid position is based in Columbus, OH, with in-office collaboration 2 days per week and remote work the remaining days. Current Nationwide Remote Associates may also be considered. This role is your opportunity to shape how marketing data drives decisions across the enterprise—through marketing mix modeling, attribution operations, and insight generation that fuels smarter strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the development of marketing mix modeling and attribution strategies.
  • Driving the collection, validation, and visualization of marketing data.
  • Translating data into compelling insights and stories that guide enterprise decisions.
  • Managing cross-functional initiatives and expanding measurement into new business lines.
  • Developing and maintaining marketing taxonomy frameworks.
  • Engaging stakeholders and educating teams on measurement best practices.
  • Recommending optimizations that elevate marketing performance.
  • Supporting marketing information capabilities and insights for production or internal business partners.
  • Developing and supporting business and data analytics projects, including statistical models and analyses.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business, customer, and financial objectives.
  • Building data visualization to support business needs.
  • Facilitating business implementation planning sessions and post-implementation checkpoints.
  • Influencing change and gaining support from leadership and key partners for new processes and methods.
  • Developing governance, documentation, and training around new processes.

Requirements

  • Typically, five or more years of related experience with analytic techniques, statistical methodologies, statistical software, and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of analytic lifecycle, business intelligence, database warehousing applications, and structured query language.
  • Proficiency in developing ad hoc queries using SQL.
  • Experience working with large customer and prospect databases, product, geographic, and demographic data.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of problem solving in a business environment and working with diverse data sources.
  • Knowledge of regression, decision trees, multivariate analysis, and other analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology framework.
  • Undergraduate studies with postgraduate studies preferred.
