About the Role

The Sr. Test Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of Industry Essentials and involves designing and executing test plans with a focus on SQL, Python, Go, AWS, MongoDB, and potentially LLM and RAG technologies. The position offers a day shift with no travel requirements and is part of a high-caliber, collaborative, and inclusive team within Cognizant, a global professional services company dedicated to transforming clients' business, operating, and technology models for the digital era.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
Execute test cases and analyze results to identify software defects and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and design effective test scenarios.
Utilize SQL and Python to automate test processes and enhance testing efficiency.
Ensure that all testing activities align with industry standards and best practices.
Provide detailed documentation of test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Work closely with the HxGN EAM team to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software updates and enhancements.
Identify and implement improvements in testing processes to increase productivity.
Monitor and report on testing progress ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.
Support the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and practices.

Requirements

Possess strong expertise in SQL and Python for test automation and data analysis.
Demonstrate proficiency in HxGN EAM to ensure effective testing of enterprise asset management solutions.
Have a solid understanding of Industry Essentials to align testing with domain-specific requirements.
Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software issues.
Show strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Display attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and accurate documentation.
Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new testing technologies.

Good experience in MongoDB.
