About the Role

The Sr Analyst, Marketing Analytics is a role within a global hospitality company's marketing team, responsible for delivering actionable insights, optimizing marketing performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making across multiple channels. The position involves analyzing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, developing dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting testing and audience strategies. This is a contract role with a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the Marketing Analytics & Testing team.
  • Manages the daily work activities.
  • Play a critical role in delivering actionable insights, optimizing marketing performance, and shaping data-driven decision-making across multiple channels.
  • Analyze and interpret data from digital and traditional marketing campaigns to evaluate performance and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor campaign KPIs, customer segments, and channel effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and analytics stakeholders to define campaign measurement plans and ensure consistent tracking.
  • Support A/B testing design, implementation, and analysis to optimize creative, targeting, and offer strategies.
  • Build customer segmentation and predictive models to inform audience strategy and personalization.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Support marketing forecasting, budget allocation, and ROI analysis.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in marketing analytics and data governance.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably in a subscription-based, travel, or consumer services industry.
  • 3 years of digital reporting experience using visualization reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or Domo.
  • Experience with A/B Testing & Personalization Testing tools such as Adobe Target/Google Optimize, Maxymiser, or others.
  • eCommerce analytics experience.
  • Experience working with Clickstream data in Google BigQuery or other data warehouse solutions like AWS or Snowflake.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of marketing KPIs.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex data to business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud), or CDPs (e.g., Simon Data, Hubspot).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in statistical software suites (R, Python, Databricks).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
