This role contributes to T-Mobile's success by driving advanced product analytics that inform and optimize broadband product strategy, execution, and performance. It involves delivering insights to enhance customer experience, accelerate growth, and improve operational efficiency, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, including Product Management, Data Engineering, and other stakeholders. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work at least 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own analytical frameworks that measure broadband product performance, adoption, and customer behavior.
  • Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to define success metrics, measure outcomes, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Perform advanced quantitative analysis (e.g., churn modeling, ROI, cost-benefit analysis, segmentation, retention forecasting) to support strategic decisions.
  • Leverage customer, network, and market data to generate insights that inform product roadmap, feature prioritization, and experience improvements.
  • Continuously monitor product health metrics, proactively identifying risks, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Cross-functional teams to evaluate performance drivers and recommend solutions aligned to organizational OKRs and Product KPIs.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders and leadership through compelling, data-driven presentations.
  • Serve as a liaison between analytics teams and technical partners to ensure accurate and scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Support product launches, initiatives, and experiments by designing measurement plans, tracking performance, and reporting on outcomes.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical deliverables, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and actionable output.
  • Partner with engineering and network infrastructure teams to align on data requirements for gateways, provisioning systems, and broadband-related solutions.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level analytics standards and governance, ensuring consistent methodologies and reporting across teams.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the Broadband Product team.
  • Share best practices and mentor peers on analytical methods, tools, and storytelling.
  • Stay current with emerging analytics technologies and methods to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of analytics experience with demonstrated impact in product, customer, or financial analytics.
  • Strong SQL and data visualization skills (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Experience with Python, R, or similar tools preferred.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in broadband, telecom, or subscription-based products strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strategic mindset.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
