About the Role

The Sr. Brand Design Manager at MGM+ is a pivotal role responsible for shaping the visual identity of the premium streaming platform across all touchpoints. This role involves leading innovative design projects, guiding a creative team, and collaborating with content creators to craft compelling visual storytelling that elevates MGM+'s brand presence in the digital entertainment landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement MGM+'s visual identity across all platforms and touchpoints.
  • Develop innovative design concepts for marketing campaigns, show key art, and user interfaces.
  • Drive design excellence through compelling visual storytelling and emerging technologies.
  • Create comprehensive brand guidelines that align with MGM+'s content and business objectives.
  • Translate complex ideas into visually striking and user-friendly designs.
  • Direct high-profile design projects from concept through delivery, including marketing materials, UI/UX elements, and brand campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of key art for original series and exclusive content.
  • Lead creative reviews and provide strategic direction for all design deliverables.
  • Guide the development of motion graphics and animated elements for the platform.
  • Ensure visual consistency and quality across all MGM+ branded materials.
  • Lead and mentor a team of talented designers, illustrators, and visual artists.
  • Optimize workflows and resource allocation across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a designer.
  • 5+ years managing teams.
  • Experience working in entertainment or digital platform branding and design.
  • Experience developing comprehensive visual identities and brand guidelines.
  • An online portfolio showcasing diverse design projects across various media.
  • Strong understanding of motion graphics and basic animation principles.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
