About the Role

The Sr Director of Insurance Go to Market (GTM) AMS at ServiceNow is a strategic leadership role that collaborates with customer-centric industry transformation sales teams and core functions such as marketing, product, and customer success. The role focuses on identifying, localizing, and promoting ServiceNow Insurance solutions within the Financial Services market, engaging with strategic clients and stakeholders globally to drive industry-specific growth and innovation. The position requires a visionary, experienced leader who can develop industry strategies, build trusted relationships, and influence cross-functional teams to enhance ServiceNow's presence and success in the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer-focused pipeline strategies by engaging with executives and senior leaders at industry events and business reviews.
  • Partner with account teams to advance sales pipelines by infusing industry expertise into account strategies and highlighting business value to shorten deal cycles.
  • Lead partner development efforts with top industry partners to support industry leadership positioning, enablement, and customer development initiatives.
  • Analyze global insurance market trends, opportunities, and KPIs to inform customer efforts and influence product roadmaps.
  • Develop and implement industry and geo-specific strategies, including growth goals, investments, and M&A pursuits, aligning with organizational priorities.
  • Engage in high-level marketing, industry events, and C-suite interactions to position ServiceNow as a leader in insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and enablement teams to ensure strategic alignment and prioritize industry initiatives.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer and partner executives to support sales and pipeline growth.
  • Provide industry insights and feedback to product development and marketing teams to shape solutions tailored to the insurance sector.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in strategy, operations, and day-to-day functions within the insurance industry or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance space, including collaboration with internal and external teams for successful integrations.
  • Proven pipeline management skills with a consultative sales approach and a track record of meeting targets and driving YoY growth.
  • Ability to leverage networks to support sales efforts and extend offerings into financial institutions of all sizes.
  • Experience advising product, development, and marketing teams with industry insights to produce best-in-class solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written, presentation, and verbal delivery, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Resourcefulness, self-motivation, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Adept at working in a matrix organization, leading through influence and relationship-building.
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business, finance, technology, or related fields.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50-75% of the time.

  • Business application software product marketing, sales, or delivery experience.
  • Experience producing thought leadership content for an international audience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in business, finance, technology, or related fields.

  • Base pay ranging from $225,000 to $405,000 plus equity, variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
