Job Description

About the Role

The Sr. Manager Market Development and Patient Advocacy is a pivotal role, that will collaborate closely with field sales, customers, and internal stakeholders to create and implement innovative digital tools and field-level programs that increase utilization of the Fibroid ablation systems (Sonata, Acessa) and Novasure in newly launched and strategic accounts. They will play a key role in supporting field salespeople and Market Development Managers, managing educational outreach for patients and referring physicians, and leading our Nurse Advocate program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with field sales, customers, and internal stakeholders to develop and implement digital tools and field programs.
  • Support field salespeople and Market Development Managers in their activities.
  • Manage educational outreach initiatives for patients and referring physicians.
  • Lead the Nurse Advocate program.
  • Create and execute strategies to increase utilization of specific medical systems in targeted accounts.
  • Assess customer needs and develop tailored support packages.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, practice managers, hospital staff, and executives.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing and advocacy programs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Education, and HEMA.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of marketing principles and strategies, including digital, social media, and field programs.
  • Knowledge of market development concepts and patient advocacy.
  • Familiarity with hospital and healthcare marketing, including referring physician outreach.
  • Understanding of CRM platforms, digital promotion, and content creation.
  • Ability to develop program and material for market and patient flow optimization.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and promotion (social media, e-newsletters, web, email, CRM).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills for measuring program effectiveness and reporting progress.
  • Experience supporting field sales and market development managers.
  • Travel experience (up to 50%) in a field-based or remote role.
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements (sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs., travel).

Nice to Have

  • Background in healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Experience managing advocacy programs with nurse or patient advocates.
  • Track record of developing and executing partnerships with external organizations.
  • Experience in program development, training, and account support.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in marketing, especially digital/social promotion and field programs.
  • Experience in healthcare or medical device industry preferred.
  • Travel experience in a field-based or remote role.

Benefits & Perks

  • Annualized base salary range of $127,000 - $211,000.
  • Bonus eligibility.
  • Final compensation depends on experience, skillset, knowledge, education, business needs, and market demand.
