About the Role

Thomson Reuters' Demand Generation Team is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative and effective integrated marketing campaigns across a range of industry-leading products. This Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy - Digital role assists with setting the strategic approach, planning, and performance prioritization for demand generation within the Legal segment in the United States. The position focuses on driving marketing attributed sales, revenue, and growth by leveraging digital channels, demand generation, and product marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on understanding customer needs, personas, and go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help determine the buying journey for the E-commerce channel.
  • Partner with digital and product marketing teams to research and define buying personas.
  • Assist with creation, planning, and activation of innovative marketing strategies for the Legal E-commerce segment, focusing on transforming and optimizing digital channels, demand generation, and product marketing.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report the impact of campaign and demand generation activities on marketing and sales pipeline, revenue, and demand funnel velocity.
  • Deeply understand Legal go-to-market strategies, insights, personas, customer segmentation, and competitive intelligence to translate business goals into marketing strategies.
  • Partner closely and/or create working processes across the marketing organization to bring strategies and plans to life through thoughtful planning, content integration, and effective translation into demand generation programs.
  • Deliver effective marketing strategies to fuel digital sales.
  • Monitor the success of planning processes, identify efficiencies, and leverage best practices.
  • Consistently monitor digital sales performance data of assigned sub-segments; derive insights and action items for leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation with a deep understanding of marketing frameworks and channel activation.
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions.
  • Strong digital experience in E-commerce, paid and organic digital channels, and customer experience thinking.
  • Deep understanding of modern demand generation technologies, platforms, and systems.
  • Experience organizing and executing events, tradeshows, and conferences.
  • Knowledge or experience of the Legal markets is a plus.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree; MBA preferred.
