About the Role

As a Marketing Sr. Consultant at CBRE, you will create and implement complex marketing strategies to achieve company and client business objectives. The role involves designing, developing, and executing marketing programs that support the organization's products and services within the life sciences industry, including laboratory consulting, real estate services, and asset management. The position requires experience in the Life Science or Lab Service industry and involves sales support, content creation, events management, and social media ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced marketing research to identify industry trends and business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies according to company or client objectives and budgets.
  • Prepare detailed presentations and proposals for new business development that suggest branding, positioning, communications, and other marketing avenues.
  • Oversee public relations tasks for the department or client, including distributing press releases, feature stories, and by-line articles to the media.
  • Perform marketing-related tasks including campaign planning, graphic design, and content creation.
  • Approve internal and external marketing materials for final distribution, including proofreading and ensuring branding alignment.
  • Provide education and training in marketing tools and resources to staff.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing reports for executive management.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans in support of functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions with a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
