The Senior Marketing Generalist II role is part of the Group Benefits Marketing team, serving as the primary marketing partner for the Distribution team, leading initiatives that support sales and growth, and overseeing marketing operations to ensure compliance, regulatory, and brand standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead marketing liaison for the Group Benefits Distribution team, managing requests and aligning deliverables with business goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
  • Lead marketing operations, including compliance and legal reviews, state file tracking and response in partnership with Compliance, project management and workflow optimization, digital print material ordering and shipping, vendor coordination, and budget oversight.
  • Ensure all marketing assets meet brand, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Use data and insights to optimize campaign performance and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Stay current on Group Benefits trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in Group Benefits or related insurance/financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, including tools, workflows, compliance, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Deep knowledge of Group Benefits products and audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing large-scale marketing projects.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and a passion for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
