About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. Product Marketing is responsible for developing highly differentiated positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. As a Sr PMM, Analytics in Product Marketing for AWS, you will define and drive the marketing strategy for AWS streaming and messaging services, creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, and building marketing programs to drive engagement and adoption. This role offers opportunities to work on a rapidly growing business with a significant impact, with potential locations in Seattle, WA, San Francisco or San Jose, CA, or Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and position of key strategic AWS streaming and messaging services.
  • Collaborate with AWS engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits of major launches into product marketing messages.
  • Engage with AWS field and digital marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption focused marketing programs.
  • Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages as well as presentations, customer success stories, and videos.
  • Work with sales to prepare our general and specialized sales teams on joint value propositions and messaging.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve joint business goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL (preferred).
