About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. The Product Marketing team is responsible for developing differentiated positioning and messaging for AWS and its services, telling compelling stories to educate customers and drive adoption. As a Senior Manager in Product Marketing for AWS Analytics, you will define and drive marketing strategies for the rapidly growing analytics business, create content to showcase use cases and value propositions, and work with engineering teams to shape product vision and prioritize features. This role offers the opportunity to work on a new and impactful business within a global, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and position of key AWS analytics services
  • Work cross-functionally to create compelling launch moments
  • Work with business development and specialist sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies including creating messaging to enable thousands of sellers
  • Create clear, technical marketing content that resonates with both developers and technical decision-makers
  • Work with analysts and manage relationships with key industry influencers
  • Define and track key business metrics that demonstrate impact
  • Partner with the product team to influence the roadmap based on market and customer insights
  • Develop executive-level narratives and presentations for industry events and customer engagements
  • Collaborate effectively across AWS groups such as engineering, marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve joint business goals

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in product marketing, management, technical marketing, or pre-sales, or a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field with equivalent experience
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products

Nice to Have

  • Domain knowledge on analytics, AI, and ML technology
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • MBA and/or computer science, engineering, or technology background

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field, or 7 years demonstrated product marketing in the tech industry
