About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. The Product Marketing team is responsible for developing differentiated positioning and messaging for AWS and its services, telling compelling stories to educate customers and drive adoption. As a Senior Manager in Product Marketing for AWS Analytics, you will define and drive marketing strategy for the analytics business, create content to demonstrate use cases and value, and collaborate with engineering teams to shape product vision. This role may be based in Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Clara, CA, with relocation offered within the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and positioning of key AWS analytics services.
  • Work cross-functionally to create compelling launch moments.
  • Collaborate with business development and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including creating messaging to enable thousands of sellers.
  • Create clear, technical marketing content that resonates with both developers and technical decision-makers.
  • Work with analysts and manage relationships with key industry influencers.
  • Define and track key business metrics that demonstrate impact.
  • Partner with the product team to influence the product roadmap based on market and customer insights.
  • Develop executive-level narratives and presentations for industry events and customer engagements.
  • Work effectively across AWS groups such as engineering, marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve joint business goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in product marketing, management, technical marketing, or pre-sales, or a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field plus equivalent experience.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products.

Nice to Have

  • Domain knowledge on analytics, AI, and ML technology.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
  • MBA and/or a background in computer science, engineering, or technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field, or 7 years demonstrated product marketing experience in the tech industry.
