The Sr. QA Automation Engineer role involves providing technical solutions, mentoring in testing tools and techniques, managing the QA and automation testing process, developing automated test scripts, and collaborating with various teams to ensure system quality and automation framework maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical solutions, tool and business mentoring in the use of testing tools and techniques.
Assist with the management of the Quality Assurance and Automation testing process.
Work closely with software developers and automation engineers to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents.
Establish and implement automated testing processes for application, performance, load, user-interface, object, regression, and data quality.
Create and review requirements and detailed design documentation to understand system features and develop test scripts and automation.
Work with various teams to create, enhance, and maintain Automation Frameworks across products.
Interact with business analysts, users, designers, and developers to understand systems and resolve defects.
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts utilizing appropriate tools to cover system functionality.
Ensure test scripts adhere to scripting standards and guidelines.
Perform automated and manual testing as needed.

Requirements

At least a bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least seven (7) years of experience as a Sr. QA Automation Tester or similar role involving automation testing, or a master's degree with at least five (5) years of experience.
Experience using mock API for mocking real API servers and providing realistic responses.
Experience using Datadog to monitor logs and ensure reliable, scalable testing solutions.
Experience using Grafana k6 Browser for UI load testing.
Experience using Bruno (ReadyAPI & Postman) API testing tools to automate cases.
Experience writing and executing SQL statements to extract data from databases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field.
7+ years of experience in automation testing or 5+ years with a master's degree.
