Key Responsibilities

  • Test, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in planning, design, development, testing, and utilization of electronic data processing systems.

Requirements

  • A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph through the MD customer, with the latest polygraph being less than 10 years old.
  • Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes in lieu of a degree.
  • Understanding of design, development, documenting, testing software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Experience developing and executing test procedures for software components.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Java programming language.
  • Capable of performing research in addition to testing efforts.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and individually.
  • Ability to determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Salary range of $206,900.00 - $310,300.00, with potential for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentives.
