Staff Technical Marketing Engineer - CIAM

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, sample applications, and documentation, focusing on integration and building with the CIAM platform.
• Craft compelling narratives around product capabilities and identity standards, and lead live demos and presentations to showcase platform features.
• Plan, script, record, and edit technical videos such as tutorials, product overviews, and deep-dive sessions.
• Represent the company and product at conferences, meetups, and webinars, sharing vision, inspiring others, and fostering a community around the platform.
• Use prototyping tools like Figma to visualize new features and user flows, and explore AI applications within the CIAM space.
• Partner with product management, engineering, and sales teams to identify key technical differentiators and translate them into market-facing content.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical product marketing, product management, or sales engineering experience for an enterprise IaaS or SaaS company or developer platform.
• Proven track record of marketing to a highly technical audience within large organizations.
• Experience in developing technical marketing content, enablement training, and tools.
• Strong experience with modern development practices and tools, including APIs/SDKs, AI, and vibe-coding, with familiarity in languages like Next.js and platforms like Vercel.
• Comfort with building and deploying full-stack applications using tools such as VSCode, Github, and Postman.
• Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and user management (OIDC, SAML, SCIM).
• Experience with platforms like Auth0 or other CIAM solutions is a significant plus.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences, from junior developers to C-level executives.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma.
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills.
• Practical experience with AI technologies, both as a user and as a builder.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Annual OTE range between $147,000—$221,000 USD for candidates in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington, including base salary and incentive compensation.
