About the Role

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. This role sits within the Product GTM (Go-to-Market) Team, tasked with accelerating and defending Google’s LCS business growth across the region via the development and adoption of products, tools, and best practices. The Americas Strategy and Operations Lead - Commerce Media Networks will be responsible for accelerating business growth, enabling product adoption, and future-proofing the AMER business by designing regional activation programs, providing thought leadership, and nurturing third-party ecosystems, agencies, and industry groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects at the Americas scale that shape the future operating model and support long-term business priorities, oversee multiple strategic opportunities simultaneously and design organization-wide strategic processes to ensure long-term goals are being defined and met.
  • Define, align upon, and execute against priority regional product Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and activation priorities, metrics, and strategies; build governance systems to diagnose, discuss, and progress against key business goals.
  • Work with internal stakeholders cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet business objectives, influence global stakeholders to build solutions for regional needs.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of product and business data to identify trends, insights, and intelligence to support decision making and activation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in sales or product strategy in traditional or digital advertising is preferred.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Understanding of retail or consumer goods.
  • Ability to present concepts to different audiences, prioritize initiatives, drive progress, and adapt quickly across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to translate product offerings into business-facing value propositions aligned with customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving, and strategic skills.

  • US base salary range of $147,000-$216,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
