About the Role

The Student Aide position at Nevada State High School supports the Marketing & Operations Department under the direction of the Engagement Manager. The role involves assisting with marketing tasks, managing social media platforms, and supporting major school events. Nevada State High School is a public charter school network providing 11th and 12th grade students with an early college experience, emphasizing personal, academic, and social skills to prepare students for college readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Engagement Manager with day-to-day marketing and event tasks, including writing blogs, scheduling eblasts on HubSpot, and coordinating event details.
Manage Nevada State High School social media platforms and create a monthly posting schedule approved by the Engagement Manager.
Assist in preparation for major NSHS events such as Intro to College, Transitions, Mock Interviews, and Graduation.
Adhere to NSHS mission and core values, follow documented core processes, utilize and adhere to the NSHS escalation list, and provide general support to the organization.

Requirements

Work a maximum of 20 hours weekly from Monday through Friday.
Good academic standing with Nevada State High School.
Proficiency in Google Workspace.
Must be eligible to pass federal and state background checks, including fingerprinting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Organizational skills.
Entry level experience.
