Summer Associate Internship (Social Media Strategist - Influencer)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support influencer marketing, paid social campaign management, product marketing, and financial education on social media.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining a multi-year strategic plan to maximize brand awareness on social media platforms.
• Help identify opportunities for influencer marketing support and ideate on relevant trends and content formats.
• Write campaign intakes for influencer agencies to convert into creator briefs and facilitate compliance approval.
• Assist in vetting and selecting influencers for partnerships on various initiatives.
• Review influencer concepts, scripts, and video drafts for brand safety, authenticity, and platform relevance.
• Aid in executing paid social support for creator posts with media agencies.
• Evaluate organic and paid performance to identify successful creators and tactics for future activations.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure campaign alignment with business objectives and other digital channels.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities or challenges.
• Perform ad hoc support to the Social Media team, owning small projects and assisting with larger ones.
• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of social media strategic plans, focusing on influencer marketing.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for influencer marketing, trending content, and relevant formats.
• Help review influencer content for brand safety and relevance.
• Evaluate campaign performance and suggest future tactics.
• Maintain professionalism and prioritize member service in all interactions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms, review sites, and emerging media.
• Understanding of social media best practices and execution.
• Awareness of influencer marketing landscape and current trends.
• Interest in social media, influencer marketing, and the financial services industry.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
