About the Role

The Technical Product Marketing Manager, Data Cloud at Salesforce is responsible for developing product messaging, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement for the Data Cloud product. This role involves simplifying complex data architecture, CRM, and AI concepts into compelling narratives and demos that drive pipeline and customer success. The position requires collaboration with product management, sales, and technical teams to showcase Data Cloud's value and influence sales cycles, customer adoption, and internal enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product Management to understand product strategy and roadmap, then translate complex technology into compelling narratives and build and deliver engaging technical demos that showcase Data Cloud's value.
  • Use storytelling and demos to showcase tangible use cases and ROI, influencing sales cycles and accelerating customer adoption.
  • Serve as a trusted technical evangelist for Data Cloud at industry events, webinars, analyst briefings, and customer advisory boards.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, incorporating new technologies into demos, events, keynotes, product launches, and release marketing.
  • Develop succinct and effective sales training materials, including FAQs, pitch decks, and other assets to facilitate understanding for non-technical sales teams.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of product or technical marketing experience in enterprise SaaS, focusing on data platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), data lakes/lakehouses, or AI/ML technologies.
  • Deep technical acumen with hands-on experience working with data architecture, AI/ML products, or real-time data systems.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end demo development, from narrative creation to technical execution in demo videos and demo orgs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to executives, vendors, partners, and customers.
  • Experience with technical tools such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, Apex, Java, and design tools like Figma.
  • Ability to develop marketing assets including pitch decks, webinars, blogs, and case studies.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce products and/or other B2B technology platforms.
  • Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Developer) and Trailhead badges.
  • Application development experience on the Salesforce Platform.
