Key Responsibilities

  • Own the account strategy within selected accounts and communicate with extended teams on an account-by-account basis, collaborating closely with Channel Partners.
  • Drive Information Software and IoT strategy with Channel Partners at selected accounts as well as the core hardware portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Rockwell Information Software (IS) Account Rep Team for lead generation, IS sales resources, regional solution consultants, and the Rockwell sales pursuit desk.
  • Help build competency and focus in the IS space with channel partners.
  • Understand the integrator ecosystem for software and hardware solution delivery.
  • Establish strong relationships at all organizational levels within the customer base and understand customer processes, goals, and organizational models.
  • Follow the Rockwell Automation sales process: know assigned accounts, plan for growth, maintain a healthy funnel, drive opportunities to closure, and evaluate performance to goal.
  • Understand industry applications, standards, regulations, drivers, trends, customer organization, desired outcomes, Rockwell offerings, and partner capabilities relevant to assigned accounts.
  • Work with Channel partners to qualify customer opportunities, engage appropriate resources, coordinate solution design, influence customer decision-making, and present solutions.
  • Coordinate with Channel partners, Rockwell account teams, senior management, and technical domain experts to plan for and win opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the Dynamics CRM system.
  • Set and help manage internal and external partner expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; sponsorship for visas is not available.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the Georgia region.
  • Typically requires 5+ years of sales experience selling through distributors or channel partners.
  • Experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, channel sales, or system integration.
  • Experience selling digital transformation solutions, IIoT, and Industry 4.0 offerings.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or related technical program.
