About the Role

Join CACI's cutting-edge Integrated Counter Unmanned Aerial System Vehicle (ICV) team in Belgrade, MT as a Test Engineer and be at the forefront of advanced defense technology! In this dynamic role, you will develop test procedures, lead and participate in critical tests, conduct data collection and analysis, and manage verification and validation activities crucial for project success. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology that directly impacts national security and involves collaboration within a high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test development and execution - The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and performing test procedures based on system requirements. This includes creating comprehensive test cases and executing both functional and non-functional tests during Sprint execution.
  • Requirements analysis - the Test Engineer will be able to read and interpret requirements provided by systems engineers.
  • Participate in Agile developmental practices and work within Sprint cycles.
  • Support test automation efforts by writing unit tests and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Document test results, report defects, and maintain test artifacts in Agile product management tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to shift testing left for early defect detection.
  • Assist with testing and validation processes.
  • Contribute to technical documentation.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in writing test cases from requirements.
  • Experience working with requirements, verification, and validation.
  • Experience in developing test procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret system requirements.
  • Knowledge of test principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Master of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Experience working with systems-of-systems.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in STEM fields (required).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (required).
  • Master of Science in STEM fields (desired).
