About the Role

The Test Engineer will play a key role in supporting testing activities on the project, reviewing vendor test activities and deliverables, facilitating automation testing in Tricentis Tosca with DEX environment, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables. The role involves creating and supporting automation scripts, test plans, and strategies, as well as participating in defect management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Support testing activities on the project and review vendor test activities and deliverables.
Facilitate automation testing in Tricentis Tosca with DEX environment.
Create, update, and support automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
Execute automation tests and support defect management and triaging issues.
Create and review functional test plans, test scripts, and technical requirements documents.
Create Requirements Traceability Matrix and test strategy, scenarios, and scripts.
Assist team with stakeholder communications, weekly status reports, meeting agendas, materials, and minutes.

Requirements

10+ years of applicable experience as a test automation engineer.
Strong experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts in Tricentis Tosca using TCD approach.
Extensive experience in integration testing including API.
Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps.
Experience in SAP/S4 HANA testing, especially ISU- Utilities, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data in databases and familiarity with different types of databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB).
Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, or Karate.
Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM.
Knowledge of browser developer tools for debugging and inspecting web elements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Testing certifications like ISTQB or Tricentis TOSCA certifications (any one required).
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited school.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks and tools like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Robot Framework.
Understanding of mobile OS platforms (iOS, Android).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, or VBScript.
Knowledge of version controlling tools like GitHub.
