The Trade Marketing Manager role is based in New York and offers an opportunity to drive strategic business plans for Coty Luxury brands in the US market, working across retail channels and collaborating with global and local teams to achieve growth and market share objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt the Brand strategy into effective channel approaches for the US Market, from conceptualization to execution, to increase market share and growth.
  • Serve as the liaison between Brand Teams, Sales & Field leads, and key retail Partners to ensure company goals are achieved.
  • Lead Go-to-Market strategy using data analytics to drive business decisions, monitor market dynamics, consumer trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Identify growth opportunities and create solutions based on a comprehensive understanding of the business.
  • Lead innovation sizing process with Sales Team, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and customer leads/exclusives.
  • Maintain a forward 3-year marketing calendar with dollarized programs to drive incremental sales.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Supply-Chain, and Finance to plan and implement localized marketing strategies aligned with global brand objectives.
  • Drive sell-out acceleration and manage trade marketing budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of launches and activation initiatives, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Coordinate retailer market week meetings and updates, building tailored talking points for each account.
  • Develop and coordinate timing of brand marketing campaigns with local marketing and ensure retailer needs are met.
  • Liaise with Sales Operations to ensure timely planning and execution of launches and activations.
  • Manage planning and execution of Coty’s presence at retailer-led trade shows such as Ulta FLC and Sephora SMC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in trade/shopper marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the US retail landscape, including Sephora, Ulta, Macy's, Nordstrom, Amazon.
  • Proven project management and executional skills.
  • Creative with robust problem solving and analytical skills, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the beauty, luxury, or FMCG industry.
  • Experience with syndicated data tools such as NPD or Nielsen.
  • Passion for beauty, makeup, and luxury categories.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in trade/shopper marketing (4-6 years).
