About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and functional system design specifications to create and execute test strategies and test cases.
• Specify test data requirements and work with enterprise data team to obtain necessary test plan data.
• Perform release validation and regression testing post-production installations, typically outside of standard business hours, including some weekend and evening hours.
• Work with Product Owner/Product Managers and Tech partners to confirm issues identified during testing and validate that requirements are met.
• Serve as UAT point of contact; represent UAT on project/scrum teams, release planning meetings, and release events.
• Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects.
• Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met, working with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Develop and maintain standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
• Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Ability to review business requirements, functional specification documents, and voice design flows.
• Knowledge and understanding of creating manual and automated test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results.
• Understanding of all phases of product development and testing lifecycle.
• Knowledge of application testing methodologies, tools, and execution (e.g., ALM, Octane).
• Familiarity with project management and agile methodologies, processes, and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
• Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Bilingual conversational proficiency in English and Spanish for speech and text translations.
• Knowledge and understanding of Interactive Voice Response (IVR).
• Knowledge of contact center environments and telephony technologies including IVR systems and routing platforms (e.g., Five9, Dialogflow CX, Nuance, Genesys).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience or equivalent.
