About the Role

The U.S. Head of Marketing at Brightmine™, part of RELX, is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the U.S. marketing function and elevating the company's Go-To-Market strategy in the United States. This hybrid position involves working from the New York City office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The role requires a strategic, data-driven marketing professional with expertise in customer lifecycle management, team leadership, and digital marketing, who can influence both regional and global marketing initiatives to support business growth and brand elevation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create, define, own, and lead the regional GTM strategy for Brightmine™ in the U.S., aligning with the Global strategy.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the U.S. Marketing function, including Demand Generation and Customer Marketing, and own the U.S. marketing budget with accountability for forecasting, spend, and ROI.
  • Contribute to both the Global Marketing leadership team and the U.S. leadership team to develop and align commercial strategies supporting business priorities.
  • Operate at the intersection of regional strategy, marketing development, and sales to optimize execution across the customer lifecycle and ensure activity delivery exceeds expectations.
  • Build trusted partnerships with colleagues and collaborate across global marketing teams including Brand, Content, UX, Growth Hacking, Communications & PR, Market Planning, Customer Insight, and Analysis.
  • Advocate for the marketing vision and support strategic priorities such as digital transformation, brand elevation, growth drivers, and team excellence.
  • Drive a high-performance marketing culture by promoting core competencies and behaviors.
  • Monitor and measure all marketing activities for effectiveness, using data and insights to improve performance and ROI.
  • Identify opportunities for process innovation and capability enhancement to improve marketing and wider commercial operating models.
  • Co-own the U.S. pipeline number with Sales and contribute to delivering a marketing impact of 80%+ on revenue.

Requirements

  • Extensive B2B marketing experience, preferably in the Partnership space.
  • Proven experience in building and executing GTM strategies that impact awareness, pipeline growth, and revenue.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering commercial success.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and data-led with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to build effective teams, motivate, inspire, and develop team members.
  • Strategic leadership skills with adaptability and a comprehensive digital skillset underpinned by data literacy.
  • Experience with CRM, CDP, and MAP systems such as Salesforce, Oracle Unity CDP, and Eloqua.
  • Strong analytical, business, and critical thinking skills.
  • Curiosity about new MarTech, data solutions, and innovative methodologies.
  • Experience with ABM, experimentation, and CDPs is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in HR technology, HR solutions, or Reward data space is a significant plus.

  • Experience in the HR technology, HR solutions space, and/or Reward data space.
  • Knowledge of specific channels and prospect journeys related to HR and Reward sectors.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing budgets and external marketing agencies.
  • Strong business, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and data-driven marketing methodologies.
